Tallinn, Estonia:

The number of passengers of Estonian Air increased by 9.1% in July

In July Estonian Air operated 967 flights, an increase of 12.1%.

During the last two months the number of passengers has shown upward trend that has been influenced by high demand for our summer destinations, increased number of flights and good performance of charter flights.

- It is good to note that we have managed to turn the number of passengers onto path of growth and we are working actively with both, business and private customers to ensure sustainable growth trend,” says Indrek Randveer, the CCO of Estonian Air.

- Our summer destinations have been very well received by the customers. In July we experienced better development than expected on our Nice, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Moscow and Trondheim routes. At the same time passenger volumes on Kiev route continued to decrease due to the uncertain situation in Ukraine,“ added Randveer.

In the first seven months Estonian Air carried altogether 314 626 passengers, a decrease of 3.5% compared to 2013. In the same period, Estonian Air operated 6225 flights, which is 4% less compared to the same period last year.
